Looking for Video capture software

Hi!

I am looking for some good opensource or paid solutions for linux that are able to record good quality video. Something like hypercam but for Linux.

Look into the program xvidcap -- it does exactly what you want.

There are several other free, open-source options as well -- just use the Google query: linux screencast

xvidcap is getting old, most people use recordmydesktop now. It work gret too, even if it have a little fewer options.
