Question Looking for software like the appliance "packeteer"


Hi everybody,

I'am looking for software like the Packetshaper from Packeteer.
BUT is doesn't have to SHAPE!!!
I just want to use it as an bandwicth/traffic monitor. With an INBOUND nic and an OUTBOND nic.

Who can help me???

You're looking for Ntop or MRTG.

Thanks for the response!
But those two applications need to be fed by SNMP or an other logging source.

I would like to install the software on a dedicated machine with two Network Interface Cards. One NIC connected to the Outside (OUTBOND) and the other NIC connected to the Inside (INBOUND). So the traffic goes trough the machine and gets measured.
