Looking for good tutorials for CDK widgets and ncurses.

I have recently tried writing some C code with ncurses and CDK widgets. The documentation and examples I have seen seem to go over my head, especially what I have found on the CDK widgets. Does anyone have a suggestion for good documentation for someone who is a little more than a beginner, but far from an expert?

Thanks so much
