You probably already have one installed for command line use. If you have KDE installed, Konqueror can connect to ftp sites and there is a KDE feature called network folders (I think) that you can set up to connect to specific ftp servers and exchange files to and from your desktop using drag and drop. gFTP is a graphical client similar to BulletProof FTP on Windows. It should be on your installation disks. It is a gtk application. There is also KFTPGrabber. I don't know if FC6 includes that on disk. KBear is an older KDE ftp application.
My personal favorite graphical client is gFTP.

If you are using Gnome, there's one built in too. Go to menu Places->Connect to Server. From there, you can connect via a number of services (ftp, ssh, windows file sharing, webdav).
