the transcode home page is the best place to start. and maybe a frontend for it like dvdrip

I always use TuneClone Audio Converter.

It can convert wma (include DRM protected) to MP3 with high quality at very fast speed by applying the virtual CD burning tech.

it costs $34.95, yet works like a charm.

For floog says that mplayer can read wmv and wmv files
http://gimpel.gi.funpic.de/wiki/inde...3/ogg_on_Linux
shoot also be a help.

I personal prefire some easy command line solutions
over fancy GUIs.
