looking for a small simple database??

I got a school assinment where I need to make a large vocabulary list of words and have certian bits of info on each one (meaning, part of speach, etc.). I also need it in a very specific format. I need somthing where I can make a little template or form where I can just fill in the blanks with the data and keep every thing nice orginized. I remember that MS Works had a thiny just like this but more geared to recipes. I googled it but all I found was high end commerial stuff. anyone know of some software that can help me out? also, im gonna need to convert it to .rtf before I send it in, so a simple way to do that would be great.

thanks in advance

You could set up a mysql database and then use a mail merge in OpenOffice to create your rtf document.
