Looking for a program which can handle QR-Code

Hello together,

I'm searching for a Linuxprogram which can decode QR-Code. For Windows there is "bctester", but for Linux I only found a Python-module.

QR-Code is kind of a barcode in two dimensions.

Anyone an idea?

Thanks in advance.

Found this from debian archive:

$ apt-cache show zbar-tools
Package: zbar-tools
...

such as video streams, image files or raw intensity sensors. It supports
EAN-13/UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5 and QR Code.
.
This package contains basic applications for decoding captured bar code images
and using a video4linux device (e.g. webcam) as a bar code scanner.

Hello gb2312,

thank you very much , I've compiled the program for Slackware, it works!

It is exactly what I was looking for. And moreover it can scan codes with the webcam.
