Looking for a program (public contactlist)

Hi there,

I'm looking for a program what can be used as a public contactlist.

let me explain:

We are a worldwide company and we do business with almost all countries in the world. You can imagine that we have alott of contacts.
The problem is that for each department, like Sales, have its own contactlist. If they need to know an address or phonenumber from the marketing dep, they have to ask to a person in that department.

What I basicly want is a public internal contactlist. It should be accessible via web (internal only)and people can update the list by themself.

Does anyone know a good program to accomplish this?

many thanks in advanced

there are lots of CMS' that could achieve this, although that may be overkill for your contacts, most can do calendering ,ticketing etc etc.

You didnt mention the format/system your existing contacts are in, i imagine there will be large time and costs involved in migrating them.

Thanks for the quick reply.
We are now using exell sheets and Lotus Notes addressbook.

If there are also a calender function in it is no problem. We can use it for meetingroom schedules.

It have to be opensource and most CMS are costing money.
