Looking for a plugin to view man pages from Kate.

Hello!
I'm looking for a plugin/patch/addon for Kate, that can do following:
When I'm editing C++ code, and press specific key, it must launch some documentation viewer with a formatted manpage for the command under cursor (caret).
Konqueror can display manpages, but I found that constant switching between Kate and Konqueror and typing man:/ prefix is a bit tiresome. Right now I'm using kate for programming, and It looks like this feature could be very useful. Is there a plugin or project that can do this?

I'm using Slackware 11 with KDE 3.5.4 desktop.

P.S. I know that it's probably possible to do this with Emacs or something else, but after some experimentation I've found that I work faster in environment like Kate/MSVC.
