Looking for a GOOD mp3 player

What I would really like in a Linux player is something with some feature comparable to MusicMatch. What would be great is something that can sort mp3's based on the genre on the id3 tag. I have way too many mp3's to just dump into one playlist in xmms, what I really need is some advanced sorting capabilities. Anything like that exist?

you can also search freshmeat.net, that's a great source for apps.
