Looking for a good C++ compiler for archlinux


Im looking for a decent free C++ compiler that will install on Archlinux, any reccomendations?

I recommend the GNU Compiler Collection, otherwise known as GCC. Have you tried that one?

The C++ part is called g++

Type "GCC" into Google. Go to the first link (gcc.gnu.org).

Something else too: Pretty much any Linux, including Arch, has some form of package management, which you should be able to use to install whatever version of GCC is current for the version of Arch you are using. I don't use Arch, so I can't help you directly with Arch package management, but it should not be hard to find this information if you look around a little.
