look for help on linux distribution
 

I am going to start a project to develop software on some
handheld device with LCD screen. I am looking
for a trimmed version, or embedded version of LInux with
gui, java virtual machine support. The device will have about
8M RAM maximum. CPU will be one from ARM.

Please consider the GUI development support, such
as libraries and tools for GUI development.

Any kind suggestions are greatly appreciated
