Question Long shot--custom games on Tuxmath

Hello, this is a long shot so I am crossposting on both my distro's "random chitchat" forum and an appropriate parenting/education forum.

I would like to learn how to create custom games on Tux Math for my second grader. He is using the first edition of Saxon Math 2 and will be using the games to review addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts.

I would like to have custom games to supplement or take the place of worksheets that are organized to drill addition facts that are referred to as "plus ones" (1+1, 2+1, 3+1, etc.), "plus twos" (1+2, 2+2, 3+2, etc.), "plus threes" etc. and also the less common "doubles" (2+2, 3+3, 4+4, etc.) and "doubles plus ones" (2+3, 3+4, 4+5, etc.).

I do not understand how to do that in my /home/myusername/.tuxmath/options file

Can you help? TIA

I'm not really familiar with the software but their page indicates that everything from simple addition to adding/dividing positive/negative numbers is available. The page doesn't appear to have been updated for several years. If you do want to add something, you would probably need to look at the source code which is written in python.

Thank you. It's a good place to start and a valuable skill to acquire.
