Thumbs up "login==logout"

hi!!! all,
If i connect to a linux machine by using putty then
if at the end of bash_profile if logout is kept as soon as we login
then as _profile is compiled first then how to over this..
or we have to say always "login=logout "

though i haven't experienced it.. i m a little curious

I'm not entirely sure what this means. I think that the problem you're suggesting is that if "logout" is specified in the bashrc file, then it'll always just logout once you've logged in. To overcome this, remove this from the bashrc file.

Of course, it's highly likely that I'm completely missing the point, and if so, I apologise, and would you care to enlighten me as to what you meant?
