Logging into window manager without password needed?

Does anybody know whether KDE or Fluxbox (xdm) allows logging in without typing a password? I mean that a user normally has a password but doesn't have to type it when logging in using one of these managers.

Dunno 'bout fluxbox , but in KDE that's certainly possible.
Just browse anything user-management-related in the KDE-configuration.
