Lock up problems. could be xfree86

Gonna Make this quick.

My computer is locking up quite frequently, i think its xfree86 so i look into my logs and i see this

Aug 30 23:08:56 localhost kernel: svc: bad direction 65536, dropping request
Aug 30 23:08:56 localhost kernel: atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0x7a on isa0060/serio0).
Aug 30 23:08:56 localhost kernel: atkbd.c: This is an XFree86 bug. It shouldn't access hardware directly.

Could any of this be ther reason?

If so how will i fix it?

If not, how can i find out whats doing this?

It might be the KDE Backround slideshow, we'll see if it locks up when i have it off.
Edit: It hasnt locked up since i turned it off, so i think it might have been that.

I'm running mandrake 10 official btw.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had this same problem awhile back when I upgraded xscreensaver..............(atkbd.c)
I had to hack the vroot.h header file so the program can draw on the current desktop in order to render properly and not lock up.............
but it could be any other file in the source code........((shrug shoulders))
