Locating Required Software

I am trying to install mplayer from FreshRPMS

When I tried to install first time, it had a list of required software to install first. I found some of those packages, but two of them are libaa and libizo.

I suspect that they may be out there under some other name - but I can't see 'aa' or 'izo'.

Any suggestions?

You should add their repositories to Yum and then use Yum to install software and dependencies instead of getting each package yourself.
