Exclamation localhost.localdomain missing

Installed Fedora Core3. After instllation i tried to installing my reliance fwp telephone modem but as it did not work i have deleted it. From then when i am going to log in fedora i am getting an message at the time of log in.....

'Could not look up internet address for localhost.localdomain. This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly. It may be possible to correct the problem by adding localhost.localdomain to the file /etc/hosts.'
There are two buttons below this message 1. Log in Anyway and 2. Try Again. If I press Try Again it repeats the same phenomenon. How to get rid off ?

Follow the instructions in the message:

Add something like this to /etc/hosts:
Code:
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain

here is what to do...

open terminal

type "su" and then it asks roots password

type "cd /etc" and press enter

I like to use gedit so you can type "gedit hosts"

then you can add that line from above message!

god luck
