mail downloading onto a server

Ok, here is what I want to do. I want to download my messages from my pop accounts and put it on my linux box so that I can access it on the linux box, or my windows box. I want some way so I can access content on either computer, and KEEP it on the linux box. I am sorry if I wasn't clear.

If you want to download them for distribution via a server on linux then look at fetchmail. If you just want to use 2 clients then just unselect the "delete mail from server" options in your e-mail clients.
