Live Video Streaming from a SBC with Camera or USB interface

Hello All,

I am primarily a hardware engineer who has ported Linux several time to SBC that I have designed. I have a new requirement to stream live video for a machine vision application. I want to use an Atmel SAM9G45 based SBC which has an on board ITU-R BT.601 (YCbCr) Image Sensor interface. Alternatively I can use USB based video camera if that cuts down on required software requirements.

I am streaming video from a embedded SBC to Windows based desktop. The video need to be 25 - 30 FPS.

Whatever streaming software will need to compiled under Linux 2.6 running on the Atmel SAM9G45 CPU.

Thanks to all for the assistance.
