Live Auditor cd loading problem
Im trying to run the auditor live cd on my samsung x50 laptop which runs on the intel centrino chipset. It all starts fine, i select the right screen resolution, but as soon as it starts " INIT: version 2.70-knoppix booting" its halts there and does notheing else. Have tried it in safe mode and works fine but then its detects nothing on the laptop. Wondering if anyone out there has had similar problems and could help?

Two things that often seem to cause problems with live CD's booting are acpi and dma. I don't know how your distro works exactly, but there should be options for disabling them during bootup. Probably you'll just have to add "acpi=off" and/or "ide=nodma" to the boot options.
