Listne to mp3s on Linux multi-channel

Is there any program that will let me listen to my MP3s in multi-channel on Linux? On windows I have a program that came with my SB sudigy 2 ZS sound card that lets me listen to my mp3s in multi-channel. I have the sound card I mentioned x530 5.1 speakers and linux mandrake 10.1 community.

Does anyone know?

You have to make or edit ~/.asoundrc to include ttable to copy the two channels. I did a reply a few months ago that has some examples of ttable lines.

After you got the lines, you have to specify the device that will point to the ttable code and make sure alsa is used.

Could you explain exactly how to do that?
(Don't ask why I took a few months to reply)

How exactly step by step do you do that?

I simple search in this forum will give you something. Also reading the documentation at ALSA on the file asoundrc.
