list of mouse config programs

I have mouse config program on my computer somewhere, but I forget the name of it. I have a Logitech g502 se, but I can't configure it with system settings in plasma. I tried install piper and solaar, but they would not install.

Is there a list somewhere of mouse programs?

thanks

(I'm currently using Arch Linux, FYI)

I've used mouse-dpi-tool (which is part of libevdev-tools - https://manpages.debian.org/testing/...tool.1.en.html) to adjust mouse performance with good luck. If you're looking for something that interacts with RGB/light effects I've read about OpenRGB (https://openrgb.org/) but never used it myself.

I'm not familiar with Piper, but Solaar I believe is only for configuration of the Logitech Unifying receivers (is this a wireless mouse?), here's the project page: https://pwr-solaar.github.io/Solaar/ - it indicates there's a prebuilt package for Arch available and has manual installation instructions as well. But remember: it isn't really a 'mouse configuration program' - it's ancillary for configuring Logitech Unifying receivers (which a lot of their wireless mice use).

And no need for 'arch BTW'...
