Problems with Liquid weather under Suse 9.0
Hi folks,
I'm under Suse 9.0 KDE 3.1
I've installed Karamba and also SuperKaramba, and I want to use Liquid Weather theme, but this doesn't work. It seems to be invisible. If I right click on I can see the menu, but nothing more. I've installed Python 2.3.3 but it also doesn't work.
What could be the problem?
Thanks.

What a coincidence - I'm having the exact same problem. I'm running SuSE 9.0 as well and tried installing about a million different things (GTK, Libglib, Qt, Python, python-devel, atk, pango (sp?), etc etc etc), and Liquid Weather and Slickbar are both invisible (Slickbar shows just the date/time, but nothing else).

I just read something about "PyKDE", but I lost it at a crash (ironically a Windows crash ), and I can't find it again. Anyone know about this? O_o

So I am not alone ...
I played around with the Liquid Weather from kde.org .... noticed that the theme is empty, so no surprise that there`s nothing showing on the desktop.
Tried k_weather.py and get at least the graphics, but never the icons and the data together and the data mostly is wrong.

Here's a fix...
I just found how to 'fix' this inviso theme problem.
Compile s.k. from source. SuSE pro users will have all the dependency's on the CD's.
