Linux video editor

Hello. I'd like to be able to edit some videos on my computer, running Slackware 64-bit. But, the only thing I can find is 32bit software. I do have multi-lib, but most of these ask me to get a ton of dependencies which ultimately is too much work for software that won't even run very efficiently.

Are there any 64-bit video editors for linux?

Yes. Both Cinelerra and CinelerraCV are 64-bit ready.

Why not build one yourself? Besides Cinelerra that guanx mentioned, you can use PiTiVi, OpenShot -- all available on SlackBuilds.org.

Kdenlive is my recommendation. It's 64-bit.

Actually, I can't think of any Linux video editing software that's 32-bit only. I'm curious as to what Dornith was referring to.
