Linux Updates

We are running a bunch of Red Hat servers and I'm wondering if there's a way to configure a centralized server to download patches and deploy them similar to a WSUS server for Windows. If not, does anyone have a recommended method for deploying updates?

Thanks,
Scott

Thanks for the suggestion. This looks good, but is there anything free out there?

you can try puppet or cfengine. initially takes a lot of configuration, but once running, you would wonder how you ever lived without....

You can simply use rsync and the createrepo package. You are aware that you need to pay in order to get RH updates?

Assuming you have a legal copy of RH, that means you're paying already for updates/support, in which case you're best off using their Satellite server.
If you really want a compatible free version, try Spacewalk https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/. Note that of course RH will not support or update that...

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. We are paying for a subscription. Maybe I'll look into the Satellite Server.
