If you have RPM installed on your system, you can install and uninstall software using RPM packages. The first place you might want to look for RPMs is on your install CDs. Again assuming that you have RPM, you should have some kind of system configuration utility that will show you what is on your install CDs. Beyond that, there are several sites that list RPMs, one of them being
http://www.rpmfind.org However, just because you get an RPM from one of those sites does not mean that it is going to work properly on your computer. Before installing any RPM from the internet, you always want to test the install first to see if there are any dependency problems and the like. Assuming that all is well, you then want to put the program through a test run as a regular user before using it as root.
