droz578 LQ Newbie Registered: Jan 2004 Posts: 6 Rep:	Linux Scripting Help I'm looking for some help in creating a script that will start a application. This will be listening on a certain port number and when that port goes down the script will restart the application. I know there is something out there already for some reason I can not find it. Any help would be apperciated... Thanks in advance....
