Linux Rafaela w/KDE?

I just recently installed the Linux Mint Rafaela on my laptop, and it works great. I was wondering since I have used the KDE environment before, has anybody had luck installing this environment on this distro? I tried KDE on a Raspberry Pi and it crawled so slow, I had to ssh in to uninstall.

KDE is a pretty heavy Desktop environment but the slowness will depend more on your processor speed and RAM. You can download a version of Mint which has KDE by default. Check the minimum hardware requirements at the Mint site. You haven't given any info on your hardware.

True, I am running a dual core 3.0ghz with 4gb RAM in the laptop. I noticed it was heavier, it made the Pi sink.
