Linux P2P Clients

Anybody know of a spyware free P2P client made for Linux? QTella doesn't connect at all and i've given up on it so if any of you could give suggestions of what I could use, that would be greatly appreciated

mldonkey and gift are my favorites, for a long time I also used edonkeyclc.

EDIT: okay so, gift is hard to google effectively, here's a link

agreed, it's really the only decent non-java one out there, but I do have a problem with it being a kde app.
