Linux on a gateway 2500
 

wazzup....Hey, has anybody tried to install any Linux distro on a gateway solo 2500 laptop? I am having problems trying to adjust the font settings to be somewhat readable to my eyes....Yes, I have checked the linux-laptop site.... :) That didn't seem to help me any. I need a new approach to this problem.

what res are you running it on?

maybe too high

have you tried to increase the font size in X

kde has it in the look n feel menu

that was it.....the simplest things gives u so much problems. I thought I had my res was set to 1024; but it was set to low at 800....ain't that somethin'.....Thankx funkup
