Linux Mint - Google Chrome crashes when attempting to print web page

I'm running LinuxMint Release 7(Gloria) with the kernel at 2.6.28-8-generic and version 8.0.552.224 of Chrome. I have a Samsung ML-2150 laser printer using the SpliX V.2.0.0 driver.

Anytime I try to print from Chrome (right clicking on the page and selecting "Print" from the drop down box, Chrome either hangs or crashes (the more typical behavior) completely.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I don't have the issue in Firefox at all.

Try running

Code:

google-chrome

in a terminal and see what error message it generates. That should give you a clue as to what it's upset about
