Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca
I have downloaded Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca onto a DVD.
My present OS is Windows 7 Home edition,
I would like to run Linux with Windows
I have tried to install the program from the DVD but without success.
What do I have to do.
Thank you
nuffield

What have you attempted to do?
Have you resized your partitions to make room for mint?
What is the make & model?
How much ram do you have?
What was the exact error?

Just to clarify: Linux isn't a program you install it is a seperate operating system which you install alongside Windows but the two are not used at the same time.
