LInux-lite vs peppermint: my experience

My laptop is a lenovo B575. I had peppermint installed with no problems. I swapped out the 240 gig ssd to use elsewhere and installed a 120 gig ssd.I installed LINUX-LITE and had many problems with wifi cutting in and out, the OS could see the brother printer but could not connect to print.I gave up and installed peppermint, no problems whatsoever.
Just my own experience.

FWIW, a friend was about to discard his old Dell laptop and I suggested putting Linux-Lite on it. It worked well for a while but then there was the same intermittent problem with the wifi. So now his kid just uses it to play a few games that came installed with it. Otherwise it just gets used as a paperweight.

just curious,

Did you guys post here to badmouth linux-lite or do something about it ?

Note that, I have not used linux-lite in my life, but I firmly believe that if you post actual issues, you might get some response towards a resolution.

Since you're asking: my days of using distros that are based on other distros are over.
And since you "gave up and installed PeppermintOS", what's there to even care about?

Not at all. I was just saying I experienced the same issue as the OP.

There's nothing I can do. My friend and I are in different countries.
