Linux kernel patches questions
Hello
I stuck with kernel patches. First, I downloaded linux vanilla 2.6.11.11 kernel. Then I downloaded some patches. First, cko patch - are there any version for my kernel? Then morph. I downloaded patch-2.6.11-morph11 patch. But a lot of things didn't patched cleanly. For example, I recieved a lot of messages like: Reversed (or previously applied) patch detected! Assume -R? [n] Apply anyway? [n] I applied it anyway, but, I think that something went wrong. When I started 'menu xconfig' I didn't find 'bootsplash' option, But this option comes with swsusp2 patch which is included in morph sources! Where can I get patches for my 2.6.11.11 kernel? Or the best solution - where I can download full kernel source with patches apllied? Thanks |
Maybe www.kernel.org?

No, I mean prepatched kernels :)

This means that the patch is already applied (As the message says) I guess this morph patch is for the 2.6.11 kernel. The 2.6.11.1-11 are patch releases. It means that they fix some bugs. So, you already have a patched kernel. Quote:
