Linux Infinite Software Download Syndrome
Hi. Does anyone else find themselves continually tempted by the wide variety of free software available, to the point where they keep on downloading new software, well over and above what is needed. E.g. I just recently discovered Scribus. I'm not sure I've got any real need for desktop publishing, but hey, it's there, it looks cool, and I'm downloading it now.

I'm starting to think that my 80gig hard drive is woefully inadequate...

Anyone else in the same boat?

nope...I only install software that I know I'll use at least once. Usually, I need to really do something on linux, so I look for how to do it. Then I install it. Then I usually end up not using for...a long time.

Uhhhh? That's a bad thing? How do you know what you like if you don't try it all.

I think I end up installing things that I never would have thought of using. I probably use them all once to try them out, but oftentimes, never again.
