Linux-GUI doesn't work with X.org 7.1 and Geforce FX 6600

After an Update of the X.org-System from the software.opensuse.org-Server (6.9 to 7.1, rpm-binary) the graphical environment of my SuSE Linux System (login screen) didn't start up. I logged in as root and tried to start up it on the command line with startx, but the terminal printed that there wasn't startx installed. I went into Yast (which worked, on a quite low graphical level) and installed all packages containing the X-System successfully, but the problem lasted. I use the Closed Source nvidia-driver (installed with tiny-nvidia-installer for my actual kernel [it compiles an own kernel-module for each Kernel if needed and changes the x-config file for its needs, which is added by Sax2 via command line then]). I thought it could have something to do with that and tried to reinstall the nvidia-driver. This worked, until I started Sax2. It recognized the graphic card correctly, told me that there wasn’t an x-server running and that it would start an own. Afterwards, the screen was flaring a moment, then the terminal printed with the suffix “xc:” that it could not load the configuration server and that I should have a look at the SaX2-log-file. I copied it via terminal to a fat32-exchange-hdd and opened it under Windows, but because I am just an average Linux user I don’t know what it wants to tell me…

Please tell me what I shall do; I am open to all suggests; this is the first crash situation I couldn’t solve on my own with Linux. The text file SaX.log is 22kb big and so it’s not a good idea to add it to this post. Please tell me how I could attach it or where I could load it up easily and link it here.

I have the same problem but until I have time to solve it I use the vesa driver in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf file
