Question Linux GUI

Can we talk about your experience GUI development in the Linux system? I heard about WxWidget and QT. If any of you have used any of these products, please let me know about your experience. I am looking for a GUI tool that is C/C++ based.

Thank you

Well... I never had any problem programming QT(after trolltech changed its license) , but I personally prefer GTK and its wonderful GIMP(C based) tool.

GTK:

The GIMP is actually the main reason why I prefer GTK.

What desktp environment are you going to use your programs under?

If you're going to write programs to use under KDE then they will work better if they're written with QT, but if you want to use then under GNOME then GTK programs work better.

QT programs do work under GNOME if you've got the right libraries istalled, and the same applies to GTK programs under KDE, but programs written with the right toolkit for the desktop work better.
