Question Linux for Lexmark X75 (3 in 1 actually 4 in 1)??

Oh My! Can anyone help me? I fell in love with a Lexmark X75 3 in 1 printer/copier/scanner and bought it before finding Linux software for it. Now I cannot find anything for it. Does anyone know where linux software is or might be for it? Please tell me I did not waste my money.

The X73 driver here: http://www.xs4all.nl/~pastolk/ might work.

Also see: http://linuxprinting.org

Thumbs down nope, won't work

The x73 is only for the printer and while that may work a little it won't do what mine does an dthat includes the copier, scanner and fax will not function. There has to be something out there or I may have to tgo back to Windows. PLEASE HELP ME!

If you need scanning support, you have to look to an entirely different project called SANE. Right now it lists the X75 as unsupported for scanning ( http://sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#LEXMARK ), but you might be able to get expert help from their forum if you follow the instructions at: http://sane-project.org/contrib.html . Hope this helps!

Thumbs down Shucks! Even X73 is a problem??

I decided to go ahead and allow it to install the x73 drivers (z42) and such, but it will not do a test print. So I tried the next one and the next and so on with absolutely nothing happening at all. I was at least hoping for the printer part to work for now but I do not understand why it is doing nothing except seeing my printer.

Anyone have any ideas?

There's a driver for x74/x75 here.
