linux enemy territory

i'm trying to get some cool games for linux and this one looks pretty sweet, but i have no idea how to download or install it. when i click on the download link im taken to a page with a bunch of text and if try to download it(its a .run file) i end up downloading a 200 mb moduel.php file how do i get this thing and install it? and do i need that latest update thing too? how do i get the update, the same way?

That sounds strange. You shouldn't get a over-sized php file, but try to rename it to something sane, i.e. "et.run" or something. Then make it executable: chmod +x et.run and finally try to run it: ./et.run

And yes, you get the update the same way, but you can update Punkbuster automatically.

Enemy Territory is, IMHO, the best online multiplayer FPS I have ever played. I ran a server for more than a year and it's great fun.

Sign up for an account and you can download the game. Docs are there too.
