My favorite email server is Postfix. Maybe it will do what you want? I didn't really understand your requirements, so I'm not sure.

Suse has sendmail, postfix and exim. You can install any of these using YAST.

thanks guys for your reply! yeah i got it now in suse, but will there be conflicts or something? cause in yast i do have procmail, and postfix currently installed do i need to select imap as well (it says this package contains imap4, pop2 and pop3 mail servers. after installation you have to activate the servers in the file /etc/inetd.conf) and how do i add my users? im still searching for installation guides ... Sendmail, Exim and Postfix are really Mail Transport Agents so they can play along nicely with other mail tools such as imap and pop3.
