Linux distro


I'm using SuSE. Is Knoppix better? I've thought of switching.

That sort of question means nothing at all. Better for what?

Linux is all about choice. So, to ask a question like that, you have to explain what you want.

I dislike both, but that might be because I want something from my computer that you don't.

Yeah, every Linux distro has its strong points and weak points.

My favorite right now for both a workstation and a server would have to be Fedora Core 2. If you want really tight integration and better legacy hardware support, stick with SuSE. I can't vouch for Knoppix as I've never tried it.
