Linux Desktop Editor


I want to edit my linux background to look as I wish, similar to the program Microsoft Blinds but for windows.

i dont know what Blinds is ?
but i assume you mean a sophisticated paint program ? try the GIMP

Do you mean windowblinds? if so, there is no need, there are usually such things built into your window manager/desktop environment. Which are you using? kde, gnome, fluxbox etc.
