linux cd player problem


every time I play a cd on any cd program that ive triedthere is no audio can anyone help me?

If you're using alsa it's muted by default. Go to alsamixer in the terminal and unmute it. Then if you want to save the setting use..i think alsactr store something like that. Havn't had to that in a long time so kinda forgot.
