Linux boot freeze on dual boot
 

Hi i need alittle help. I recently got rid of windbloze and now im in the process of converting my wife..lol Anyway i just tried a dual boot for her cause she needs to be weened off. First i installed xp then Suse 8.0. lilo installed fine as well as the first disc...then it restarts and asks for the second disc that installs then it reboots and freezes on Starting hardware scan on boot???? does anyone know why or how to correct this and no she will not give up on windbloze yet. Thanx for any help available........Cg

She doesn't have to convert to only SuSE.

Try many other distros that don't reboot during install such as Mandy, Red Hat, Slack, etc.
