Linux app to quickly and easily change file dates?

I am using Ubuntu 10.04. I wish I could use Nautilus to change file dates, but I guess that does not work.

Is there another file manager, or something, that allows me to do this? I know about the touch command, but that's a little cumbersome for I am trying to do.

how is touch cumbersome? It's a painfully simple command to run... what are you actually trying to achieve? If you give us more information it will probably help a lot.

Seems it can be done with :

1) cd <dir>/

2) touch *
.... And all files will change date, time with that one command.
....
