Linux animation creation?
 

I've always loved drawing, art and in particular animation, and as I have some time on my hands, was wondering what tools were out there for creating reasonable quality animations - ideally without drawing every frame by hand (I don't have that much time - or that much patience...).

I have seen Moho, and it has potential, but as this will be for hobby purposes, I was hoping someone might know of a free for non-commercial use, or just plain free, program?

Not exactly sure what you are looking for here. One thing you can try is go to

and search for 'animation' in projects. This gets 91 hits and some at least look like they might be relevant. I know there are drivers around for some of the popular drawing tablets also.

Hope you can get some more specific recommendations.
