Linux & XP home network --Easiest way?
 

Just wondering what thing I should use to set up a network so I can share files between my Fedora 8 and my XP boxes.

I already have a functional network through a router with internet but I dont know where to start in order to share files between the two pc's.

Should I use Samba or something else?

if both computers can reach the internet, then they'll be able to reach each other. that's the end of the network stuff. moved to Linux - Software as this is not actually about networking.

Samba is what you want.
