Linux & Win XP multi boot problem

I have problem in multi booting [win XP & Fedora 4]. I have two different Hard disk obviously one disk is loaded with win XP and other disk with Fedora Linux 4. If i make try to boot Win XP with below commands [see snapshot from GRUB.conf file] system is not booting the Win XP. Also there is NO error message, it will be simply waiting for NOTHING !

the command in grub.conf is as below to boot the Win XP

title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1

are the right commands to boot win XP ?

See below for complete GRUB.conf file. Pls help me

******

# grub.conf generated by anaconda
#
# Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this file
# NOTICE: You have a /boot partition. This means that
# all kernel and initrd paths are relative to /boot/, eg.
# root (hd0,0)
# kernel /vmlinuz-version ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00
# initrd /initrd-version.img
#boot=/dev/hdb

## Setup the Variables For BOOTING

default=0
timeout=10
splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
#hiddenmenu

### Setup Priority for booting

title Fedora Core (2.6.11-1.1369_FC4)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb
quiet
initrd /initrd-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.img

title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1

With your setup (Linux on hda, xp on hdb) xp won't boot. xp will pout, drag its heels, but won't boot. xp wants to be on the master hard disk (hda). So, the thing to do is make it think that's where it is by using the map command in grub conf.

Change this config:
title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1

to this:
title Windows XP
map (hd0,0) (hd1,0)
map (hd1,0) (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1

The map command tells xp it's on the master drive, and it will boot.
