Linux and most recent version of YouTube player

Well, when I set my girlfriend's father up on Kubuntu, the YouTube player worked fine, sound and all. However, it appears that YouTube has updated their player, and it no longer works... at all.

Any advise on where to start?

Hrm. Interesting. I'll have to have a look at the Flash install. It was working before... :\
